Outlook 2007 allows incoming/outgoing e-mails but cannot delete e-

I am using Outlook 2007 with Vista on a pretty new computer (2months old).
Up until a couple days ago everything worked pretty well. Now I can receive
and send e-mails but I can't delete or move e-mails to different folders. My
outbox shows messages to be sent but I know they have been sent. When I try
to delete/move items a message appears "errors have been detected at... and
to run Scanpst.exe. I finally found the application but can't identify the
file for it to scan. I would really appreciate any ideas or suggestions.

Within Outlook, check the properties of Personal Folders, this will show
name/path of the data file
