Outlook 2007 and ActiveSync, and whatever

Outlook never closes. The process ALWAYS remains in the task manager. If I
end the process, I get a 'repairing outlook file' message the next time I
open it.

It seems to be happpening more after upgrading to Windows Mobile Device
Center for Vista. This needs to be resolved ASAP. If anyone has any ideas,
they are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Do you leave your PDA cradled?

Yes...for the most part however; it was not cradled today and Outlook was
still not closing.

Something else is keeping it open, then, like a desktop search engine or
some other add-in

Have you tried starting Outlook in safe mode to see if the problem persists?
Start>Run>outlook.exe /safe
