Outlook 2007 and AVG

Bill Hatter

All,

I just recently installed AVG, and started having problems, and found the
posts where its email scanner needs to be disabled, and I've done that, but
now I have another problem.

When I try to re-open an email that was sent to me I still cannot see the
message.

I've opened some emails using AVG, and even after disabling the AVG I cannot
see the messages.

Are these gone, or are they retrievable in some way? I've tried forwarding
them to myself, uninstall-reinstall, restore from backup (the only thing that
works, but I haven't backed up in a few days).

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks,

Bill Hatter

The bodies of the messages you received before you turned off the problem feature in AVG cannot be recovered.

Unless they had enabled the option to leave copies on the server. Then
creating a new mail profile may very well cause them to be downloaded a
second time.
