Outlook 2007 App Hanging

I have an IBM Lenovo laptop running Windows XP, SP2; Office 2007 & IE v7. I'm
an admin on my laptop. I travel for my company and am constantly on a
wireless network with the company wireless Verizon Aircard. I'm using the
company AT&T VPN application to access my email after logging onto my laptop
and activating my Verizon wireless application. Whenever I bring up my
Outlook app, the send-receive shows stuck. Three out of 4 of these progress
bars show still in progress but one says complete - sending but looks as if
it is still trying to send. I press 'Send/Receive' but to no avail. I have
been having to go online on a different computer entirely to access email
through Outlook Web Access to access my email.

Am I missing something here? Why do you suspect that it's hanging? I've been
experiencing this for two weeks now. Help please. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated.
