All,
We're running Echange server 2007. Accessed it via Outlook Web Access.
Created a recurring appointment. When back in the office, I connect Outlook
2007 and edit the series. Finally, all of the recurrences end up being
deleted one by one. So, I did not delete the series.
When connecting via Outlook 2007 since then, I get an alarm for this
appointment as soon as Outlook opens. I cannot delete the alarm. I cannot
open the appointment either, the error indicating Outlook cannot retrieve
recurrence information. It does not show in the calendar: not in Outlook nor
in Outlook Web Access. Initially, I could find the appointment (by searchin
on the name) via the Windows search. I attempted to delete it from Windows
search, and had the same error: cannot delete because cannot retrieve
recurrence information.
So meanwhile, each time I open Outlook, and at each alarm from the calendar,
an alarm shows up for this "ghost" calendar entry.
When trying to synch Outlook with my Nokia phone, I get a warning: For some
reason, it appears having saved the appointment as starting at 18:00 and
ending at 9:00. So the start time is after the end time (or the end time
before the start time).
How can I get rid of this b*#ring thing?!
Thanks, P
