outlook 2007 - aren't there beta test groups you can report all this to?

Not for the public beta. Post issues here, preferably after searching to see if the same issue (and its solution) has already been reported.

It's a public beta know so people can use the public newsgroup. I'm glad
most of the posters are already Outlook 2007 in the subject but putting BETA
in front of it would be better :)

Anyone else getting a bit peeved with all the OL 2007 beta bug posts? Surely
MS has set up a newsgroup specifically for beta testers?

This isn't a beta test - it's a public preview. The beta test is an entirely
different program.
There is a feedback mechanism available to those with the public Preview:

"The best tool to use to give us feedback on Office 2007 Beta 2 is called
Send a Smile. Install the Send a Smile tool and two icons are added to the
notifications area of the taskbar over by the clock: a happy face to click
when you want to give us positive feedback and a sad face to click when
there's something you don't like."

get it from:

Send a Smile has a place for comments and captures a screenshot so the team
knows what you are referring to.
