outlook 2007 attachments

why sometimes attachments sent by outlook 2007 will be changed into *.dat
files in receivers' other mail clients, and they can't open it. e.g., a file
named ABC.doc can become ABC.dat when received. And how to solve it ?_?

Gordon was suggesting that you include a portion of the message to which you
