Outlook 2007 authentication methods not supported...

I have windows vist and am running Outlook 2007. I am unable to send or
receive mail. This is a new problem as I had previously been able to.

Here is the error message I am receiving:
None of the authentication methods supported by this client are supported
by your server.

I have checked my outlook settings and there is no authenticaton method
selected. I tried selection each one of the options separately, but to no
avail.

Any ideas?

And how do the Help pages of your ISP tell you to configure Outlook?

I am on network at a small office and our admin. is out so I cannot check
about the configuration settings. I have walked around to several other
computers to check their settings in Outlook and they are the same as mine.

The only thing that happened that may have been the cause is the fact that a
couple of days ago I tried sending a big Publisher file attachment. It hung
up for days before I figured out how to get rid of it. Since then I have been
having these problems. I did not have them before this.
