Outlook 2007 Autoarchive

I have setup autoarchive to move items older than two week to the archive
folders. This is great, however certain messages I flag for a later follow
up, and i want a simple way to stop these item from not being autoarchived.
Anyone got any great suggestions, or how about MS adding this option?

I already knew that option was there but i was looking for a more intuitive
way of doing it, or better still have outlook do it automatically. Is it
possible to trap a flag being set in VBA and automatically set the do not
autoarchive, the reset the do not autoarchive when the flag is cleared or
completed. I am a VB6 developer but haven't really done much with outlook and
vba.

Linking it might not be desired in all cases but if it is in yours VBA might
indeed be the solution. If you can't trap the flagging event you can create
your own button/shortcut which will set the flag and the autoarchive
property at the same time. For more info check with the developers down the
