Bit of a wierd one here... Outlook is deleting all of my sent mail on a daily
basis. One day afew weeks ago I went to my Sent Items folder and to my horror
was presented with a blank message database. They are totally wiped out
I'm using POP3 and have absolutely no rules set. Auto Archive doesnt appear
to be the culprit. Have run the Inbox Repair Tool to no avail. The Sent Items
folder is set to View Messages.
Each day I can view my sent messages, as though it is funtioning correctly.
From what I've observed, sent messages are deleted at the start of the
program each new day, however that's simply my speculation. I do not leave OL
2007 running 24-7. Even if I close, then restart Outlook 2007 during the same
day, all sent items from the day remain in the Sent Items folder. However,
next day or any other future date --poof -- sent messages are history. I
t's a serious problem when attempting to track multiple jobs/clients. Anyone
else seen this with OL 2007? Any knowledgable recommendations out there? I'm
pulling my hair out on this one.
Thanks!
