I installed BCM on Vista Bus 32 as an add-on to 2007 Enterprise. I did not
see any installation errors. Bringing up Outlook showed no difference after
installation.
By using the FILE>DATA MANAGEMENT menu in Outlook I was able to connect to
the database created during install. This added some Folders and Groups to
Outlook but did not allow full functions.
I still have a system with no Business Tools tab. I looked through the
tools menu and the Help menu and can see het my add-in is missing. Not
greyed-out but missing. I have tried to force it to add-in, but no luck.
I am dead in the water.
What I have tried is:
1. Reinstall - no change.
2. Copying files and manual overrides to get add-in to load - no luck.
3. Checked the registry for the BCM keys. - They seem to be there.
4. Loading SQL Manager Express to examine the SQL database first hand. Has
not lead to a solution. I tweaked security, etc.
My questions.
1. Is BCM incompatible with 2007 Enterorise?
2. If my media is bad how can I get it replaced?
3. Is there a log file on my system holding the clues that I could look at?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
