Outlook 2007 beta 2 adding zip attachment

I've done a trial upgrade from outlook 2003 to outlook 2007 beta2.
However If I try and add an attachment that is *.zip by clicking on the
paper clip and browsing to the desktop I can not see any *.zip files.

I have a work arround that is to drag the file into out look from the
desktop.

Does any one else have simular issue or am I just missing the obvious.

That is Windows/third party compression tool related not Outlook. Reregister
the dll for native zip support in Windows XP
Start-> Run; regsvr32 zipfldr.dll

I have removed RAR ( 3rd party compressions tool) registered the zipflr.dll
including a reboot for good measure. I can create compressed files by right
clicking
But these compressed files do not appear in the insert files box.

To reproduce the issue on a 2nd box with no history of 3rd party compresions
software I followed these steps.
1] Navigate to a folder
2] right click a file - send to compressed folder
3] zipped folder appears in explorer.
4] open new mail - insert file navigate to same folder no compressed
(zipped) file
also if
5] from within outlook insert file box above right click the original file
- send to compressed folder
6] warning message appears headed " unable to move or copy" with message in
box of "this folder already contains a folder called "x" rename the
folder...."
also if
7] from within outlook insert file box above right click create new
compressed folder nouthing appears.
8] switch to the explorer view and the zipped folders are inthe correct
folder.

It is almost as if word/outlook does not let you insert folders and is
treating a compressed (zipped) folder the same.
