Outlook 2007 Beta 2 - outgoing e-mails bounced back

N Brauner

I'm running Office 2007 Beta 2 on Windows XP Pro SP2 with all updates. When
I attempt to send an e-mail (other than the test messages that get sent when
configuring a new POP3 account), it gets immediately bounced back as
undeliverable from the "System Administrator" with the message "553 sorry,
that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)". The computer is
not connected to a corporate network -- just a direct DSL connection to the
Internet. Everything was working fine before installing the Beta. Anyone
have any ideas? Thanks!

Thanks! It looks like that when the Beta replaced Outlook 2003, it kept some
of the previous e-mail account settings, but not all of them.

I'm running Office 2007 Beta 2 on Windows XP Pro SP2 too, with all updates.
I've witnessed almost the same problem when I attempt to send an e-mail or
reply it. But with me the problem is:
"(0x800412108) mail.bezeqint.net - sending: The operation timed out waiting
for a response from the sending SMTP server. Contact Internet Service
Provider (ISP)."
"(0x800ccc80) mail.bezeqint.net - sending: None of the authentication
methods supported by this client are supported by your server."
Please, anybody has a solution for this problem? I can't send but only
receive.

did you check the authentication settings in the profile to see if it's
correct? What authentication settings does your server support?

Hello Diana and Brauner,
I think I get the soluction to this trouble! After I did talk to my Server
Provider Support, when he denied to assist to me about this new and unknow
versio for him, I followed this steps:
1 - Go to "Tools"
2 - There click on "Account Setting"
3 - A new window will open and click on "Remove" (to remove the current
account)
4 - Click on "New"
5 - There, the 1st option (Microsoft Excange Server, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP
must be selected), then click "Next"
6 - Below, mark the option "Manually configure server settings" and click
"Next" again
7 - In this next part, you must complete every camp is empty like "User
Information", "Server Information", "Account Type" (must be "POP3"),
"Incoming mail server" (just like your domain server configuration),
"Outgoing mail server (just like you domain server configuration) and click
"Next"
8 - Complete the camps "Logon Information" just like before you did when
created the account like "User Name", "Password"
9 - In the same task you must click on "Test account" and "Next". In this
moment Outlook 2007 B2 will perfom the new settings to check the account. If
anything is right without "Logon Information" troubles, after the check up
click "Finish" to end the operation

These steps soluctioned my trouble I did undergo along for a week. My
account returne to operate as usually and all no sending mail's have benn
sent.

So, I desire to proceed as suggestioned above and good luck with your new
Outlook 2007 B2.

P.S.: Because this version of Outlook is experimental, no Server Provider
will give its support as usual before Microsoft release officially on the
world informatic market.

Hello,

I'm kind of experimenting the same problems.
I have 3 email account configured in outlook , two with my isp
(e-mail address removed) and (e-mail address removed) and one with hotmail
(e-mail address removed)

I'm having a weird problem : I'm able to receive all my emails, I'm also
able to send email via (e-mail address removed) and (e-mail address removed) but
not via (e-mail address removed).

I did check the server settings and they are fine , same as
(e-mail address removed) but with a different user name and password. but pop
and smtp are the same.

I did delete the account and recreated it but no luck .

The weirdest thing is that I will be able to forward any email in my inbox
from the (e-mail address removed) but not send new emails from this account.

Anyone can help me ??

I have also this issue! The strange thing is that it worked just fine for a
time and now it's reporting this error - I'm using googlemail and all the
setings are correct! It seem that Outlook 2007 beta2 has a terrible bug!!
Hopefully it will be fixed soon...

Or may be somebody has an idea how to fix this problem?

Regards, Oliver Lill-Rastern

I am having a problem with messages going to my 'outbox' and staying there.
I cannot use the send/recieve button either. The message I get is "Sending
reported error (0x800CCC0F) The connection to the server was interrupted.
if this problem continues, contact your server administrator"

Let's not get off track , I don't get any error message, my sent messages
does go to the sent items folder, I just never get deliver. but this is only
with (e-mail address removed). (e-mail address removed) is fine and
(e-mail address removed) are fine.
