Outlook 2007 beta 2 - Outlook unable to create work file ...

Help,

After finally being able to activate the beta, I get an error when I click
on messages in my inbox - Outlook was unable to create work file. See temp
environment variable.

I have edited the registry and made sure all the temp settings (tmp, tm)
are pointed to the correct directory.

I was able to stop this error in Word by using "winword /a", but outlook
still has a problem.

did you upgrade? make a new profile? are you using roaming profiles?

The beta was installed as an upgrade to Office 2003. The only profile on
this computer is mine.
