Outlook 2007 Beta 2 search returns unknown error

Whenever I try to search any folder in Outlook 2007 Beta 2, a soon as I
type the first letter I get a popup saying "The messaging interface has
returned an unknown error."

I've already tried all the fixes I could find, including installing the
beta search 3.

How can I fix this?
If I can't fix it, is there any other way I can search for messages in
Outlook?
Is this the right forum to ask in, or is there an Outlook 2007 newsgroup I
should be using?
