outlook 2007 (beta2) and hotmail

Hey peepz,

do you know what the following problem is, i've searched a lot, but haven't
find a problem described as this one:

task 'hotmail: Download folder list. 'reported error (0x80004005):
'Outlook's request to the server failed.
The server responded 'Redirect to partner'.'

Is this also the famous 'pay for it' problem? Or is it something else?

Thanks in advance.

kind Regards,
Anton

Is it a free or paid account? Some users are reporting that free accounts
that worked previously no longer do with Outlook 2007.

It is a free account, but people mostly get the following error (when free
accounts don't work anymore):

Task 'Hotmail - Sending' reported error (0x80004005) :
'Outlook's request to the server failed.
The server responded 'Access to Hotmail via Outlook and Outlook Express now
requires a subscription. Please sign up at http://upgrade.msn.com'. '

I haven't found an error that's exactly like the one i have, so that's why
i'm confused.

Regards,
Anton

I think Outlook 2007 marks the end of the Outlook access for the
"grandfather" Hotmail accounts. I've had to setup a web-screen-scraper
for my 9year old hotmail account to work for Outlook 2007, although it
was working fine with OutLook2003.
