Outlook 2007 Business Contact Manager and Outlook Connector

Hi, I'm new to all of this but hope someone will know the answer.
Because I have several computers active at any one time and multiple email
accounts for different business entities, I've got my email set up through
Hotmail using Windows Live Domains so that the email address uses the domain
names I own. I do this because all computers then have copies of sent
items. This is helpful because I don't need to hunt thorough the different
PST files on the different machines. I have installed Outlook Connector in
Outlook 2007 so I can access those email accounts in Outlook which I use for
tasks, calendar, contacts etc.
BUT I also want to use Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007 for all the
obvious benefits it provides.

On my main desktop (new Quad-core machine with Vista Ultimate 64bit) I have
tried the following configurations.

A. Outlook 2007 + BCM (no database content) + Outlook Connector 12.1 with
several email accounts = Problems signing into some hotmail accounts
B. Outlook 2007 + BCM (with database content) + Outlook Connector 12.1 with
several email accounts = Outlook hangs and doesn't start properly 50% of the
time with same issues as A. above
C. Outlook 2007 + Outlook Connector 12.1 with several email accounts =
Everything works fine

The organisational and administrative features in BCM are great so ideally,
I want configuration B. above on all machines. IS THIS POSSIBLE? Is there
an obvious reason while all three (as in B. above) can't and will never
work?

Thanks in anticipation for any assistance offered.

How many connector accounts do you have configured in Outlook?
Does it work with 1 connector account and BCM?

I believe the problem is that everything is trying load at once - the
connector is trying to load and check several accounts and BCM is trying to
load and something has to give...

Thanks for responding Diane.
I have a large number of Connector accounts (about 10) however, the
explanation you give doesn't hold true with Outlook 2003. On my XP
Pro desktop machine, I have:
- BCM with functioning database (including linked email);
- 10 Outlook connector accounts; and
- Google IMAP account (functioning).
I get no error messages when Outlook starts (either BCM or Connector)
and every Connector account connects without error (100% of the time)
which is why I feel there is something particular to Vista/Outlook
2007.
The same is not true with my VistaUltime64bit desktop.... a la my
initial post. My VistaUltime64bit laptop is less problematic although
I've never set up BCM properly (in that I have installed the software
but never set up a database). However I do get an error message on
the Vista Laptop when starting Outlook 2007 as follows:
"Business Contact Manager for Outlook could not complete your last
action or actions. Please try again."

Can't find that group Brian. Am I looking in the wrong place? I've checked
using Forte and just now with Microsoft Mail for Vista.
