Outlook 2007 Calendar Locks Up

Outlook 2007 connects to SBS 2003 with out error. Using Outlook 2007,
customer can open mail, notes, contacts, and task. However, when she tries to
open Calendar, outlook.exe process drives CPU usage to 50% and hangs Outlook.
I have done an Office 2007 repair and checked for any MS updates. This
problem started Jun 12 2007. The other 16 domain users have no problems with
their Outlook. We can connect to her email using OWA and open her calendar
with no problem.

Has anyone experience this problem? Any trobleshooting ideas?

I have exactly the same problem in the almost exactly the same environment.
My problem started at 8th of June.
Any new info on the problem? Have you been able to find the solution?

We have resolved the problem.

First, go to %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
fodler. Delete or rename outlook.ost file. If this doesn't help - proceed.

The user (apart having Exchange Mailbox in Outlook) had also have Archive
and Personal Folders attached.
After closing Personal Folders folder (Right-click - Close) the Calendar
began to work.
This means the Personal Folder has corrupted item which prevents Outlook
from displaying the whole calendar.
Just try disconnecting all other stores one by one, and you should find the
faulty one.

If you have found it, I am not really sure what to do next :), since I
suggested our client to use Exchange Mailbox. He will just drag and drop all
folders from Personal to Exchange. The client is OK to loose Calendar Items
in his Personal store. Maybe Inbox Repair Tool could help, but no time to
test it now. Client just wants to have his Calendar working again.

I wasn't sure if importing the *.PST file to the Exchange wouldn't import
faulty item also, so I didn't go with that solution.

I have this issue as well - calendar hangs. I deleted the .ost file -
this did not help. I then closed my .pst file (I use it for archiving
e-mail) and this did not help either. All of Outlook works normally,
except the calendar. The calendar hangs every time I click on a day,
trying to open or create an appointment. This happened 3 days after
upgraing to the Office 2007 suite.

This occurred to me several days ago and none of the suggestions
helped (I also checked http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/known_issues.htm).
It was very very frustrating. I spent hours doing everything that was
suggested, including opening several new profiles (in addition to
using scanpst.exe, and deleting my entire calendar) and the calendar
kept hanging. In the end I turned off each PST and found the one that
was problematic (note that scanpst.exe did not find any problems in
it). Moving all the items to another pst would take a long time (I had
many subfolders in it), so I decided to try my luck and compact the
problematic folder first and it worked! I compacted the others as well
and the calendar is working well (and I managed to undelete most of
the calendar items).
