Outlook 2007 calendar won't show details

Two problems - may be related:
1. My calendar went from showing just the weeks in a month - with subject
headers showing on the dates in month view -- to showing six weeks at a time
regardless of how many weeks are actually in the month. This resulted in
smaller blocks and no info in those blocks - looks like a blank calendar.
When I open a single day, I can scroll down through that days hours until I
discover an appointment. I've tried resetting all the views.

2. Multi-day trips used to create a 'bar' across those days on the month
view calendar to easily identify that time was a 'unit'. This disappeared
after a recent upgrade. How do I get that back or is it part of problem 1
above?

1. I think the description fits with scrolling during a long month or you
selected 6 weeks in the navigation calendar. Try clicking the Month button
to bring it back to just the month.
2. All day events and multiday events should show on the calendar. What view
are you using? did you try resetting the view?

As I'd mentioned, I have tried resetting the view......actually multiple
times. Today I discovered what might have been part of the problem. A
notebook computer that I seldom use, but always carry while traveling, had
been set to medium detail. I haven't yet returned to the office to see if
that fixes the problem for the other workstations I use. I think not as each
workstation gets to set its own views and people not logged into my profile
can go to 'other users calendar' and see all the details just fine.

Even on the portable -- which has gone back to showing appointments --- I
still do not get the bar across several dates to show when I'm out of the
office on travel periods. That is very valuable for my staff to see and for
me to see too.

It was definitely not a problem caused by choosing six weeks (as I haven't
even found such an option on any of the view choices I've investigated). I
actually had it set to show two weeks and the appointments still weren't
showing up on my other workstations. But thanks for asking that question.
Any and all trouble shooting ideas are definitely welcome!

Diane - Did you see the second question re: what happened to the bar on the
calendar details for travel out of office periods? Should I start a new
thread for that question or is it all part of calendar details issues.

It's fine to keep it in this thread.

See if it works on the others - I can't repro the problem by changing the
details. if that's not the problem, send me some screenshots so I can see
it - I might be visualizing a different issue.
