Outlook 2007 cannot open Exchange 2003 shared calendars

As the subject says, we computers running Outlook 2007 in our domain
and using Exchange 2003 as our mail server. When one of our users
tries to open a shared calendar, she is receiving the error message -
"The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem
persists, restart Outlook".

I have found a hotfix on Microsoft.com, but it hasn't fixed the
problem. I had also found a fix that simply said to empty the deleted
items folder, which has also been done. I had also deleted her
profile and created a new one, but the problem came back.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you caching the calendar? tools, accounts, select the exchange account
and click change, more settings, advanced tab.
