Outlook 2007 cannot send emails but can recieve them ok?

Hi

I have outlook 2007 installed on my machine, and can recieve email, but i
cannot send it, this has only started happening in the last 3 days or so, it
just sits in the outbox and does nothing.

I have uninstalled office and reinstalled it, including all the hidden data
files, have tried creating a new profile, but all in vain.
I have uninstalled my AV prog (NOD32), I can send and receive from laptop
using exactly the same ISP settings with no problem. My ISP is btinternet.

Any ideas ?

Do any error messages appear when you attempt too send?

Hi Hal

No, but i have it sorted now, BT my ISP have changed the server outgoing
smpt from 25 to 587, i did this and can now send outgoing mail, its strange
really because i have outlook on my laptop still set to port 25 and it works
ok?.
