Outlook 2007 cannot start up

Running Outlook 2007 under Vista Ultimate 32bit.
My outlook.pst is stored on an external drive.
When I start Outlook 2007, it opens up without any folders showing.
Further more, when I select Send/Receive, I am told that I am not connect
to my mail server.

When this happens, there is a window behind Outlook that does not show up
in my task manager, it is Setpoint complaining about not being able to
access the files. I realize that Setpoint is a component of my Logitech
bluetooth desk top.

The only way to get Outlook to start, is to go into my Task Manager and
kill the Outlook process which is running.

Once I have killed it, I can start Outlook normally.

Has anyone else experienced this bizarre behaviour, and if so, were you
able to come up with a workaround?

Outlook failing to close properly is generally down to an add in or
other app accessing the data file
Once you have outlook running look in the Trust centre, dissable all
add ins, retest
If ok, go back to trust centre re enable the MS addins, retest.
After that its a process of ellimination with the remaining ones
PS anti virus intergrated with outlook is a common cause of OL issues

Yes, thank you. I have disabled Setpoint and that seems to have done the
trick. My bluetooth keyboard and mouse from Logitech has a built in
interface which must be watching my inbox and .pst file, hence the reason
for the error.
