I have Outlook setup to start in my Calendar folder - under Advanced
options.
It does this without problem.
Also, I'd like to have the Folder List View as the default (in the
Navigation Pane) whenever I open Outlook.
This was never a problem until recently, when for whatever reason, every
time I open Outlook, the Navigation Pane opens in Calendar View.
According to http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA011182481033.aspx I
should be able to force Folder list View by a simple registry tweak - that
is, if you're running Outlook 2003...
1. Exit Outlook.
2. Open the Windows registry editor.
3. Browse to My
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Options\WunderBar.
Note If WunderBar is not shown, right-click the Options folder, point
to New, click Key, and then type WunderBar.
4. Double-click BootModule.
Note If BootModule is not shown, right-click WunderBar, point to New,
click DWORD Value, and then type BootModule.
5. Type the number that matches the default view that you want Outlook to
start in.
(Number - View)
0 - Mail
5 - Folder List
6 - Shortcuts
This tip worked fine in earlier versions but unfortunately it doesn't seem
to work in Outlook 2007, and there doesn't seem to be an equivalent tip for
Outlook 2007.
Does anyone know how to accomplish this?
