Outlook 2007 can't search for emails

I cannot find emails in my personal folder mailboxes. I have tried search all
Mail Items, advanced search, messages from sender, include all subfolders. I
can be looking right at an email, I search will not be able to find it. Is
there a way to revert to the old Outlook 2003 search? That worked well.

Got it fixed. Deleted some data folders used in indexing. Chose other drives
to be included in indexing, rebuilt index.

Tried many ways. Searches work fine in a folder. But find little or nothing
in ALL MAIL search. Index reports its complete.

Please tell what corrections you made. How to rebuilt Index. I have big
PST recently moved from 2003.

Thanks for the link...excellent website with exceptionally useful information.

I'd been suffering with 'Indexing' issues for about two weeks, trying all
sorts of support service websites, rebuilds, etc, etc.

this worked first time!

Keep up the good work and I've saved the website to my favourites.
