Outlook 2007 conflict with Logitech SetPoint

Hi,

I am experiencing a conflict between Outlook 2007 & Logitech SetPoint:
whenever I close Outlook, although it disappears from the screen & task bar,
the process is still showing as running in Task Manager.

By trial & error I have found that if I close/disable SetPoint, then Outlook
will fully close when exited in the usual way. However, I really want to keep
SetPoint running!

I can also close it down in Task Manager, but this is also inconvenient &
easily forgotten.

Does anyone know why this is happening or have a proper fix please?
