Outlook 2007 Contacts, Calendar and Email

Linda

I upgraded to Outlook 2007 earlier this week with no problems. I then
upgraded from Windows XP to Vista which is when my outlook problem began. My
contacts, calendar and emails/folders all worked fine and showed up after
upgrading to Office 2007, but after upgrading to Vista I have nothing but my
newest emails (from yesterday and today).

I'm at wits end as to what to do. I've search the knowledge base and many
of the communities but no luck. Anyone else have this problem and if so, is
it correctable? I have the windows.old directory and all of the other
files/folders that were under windows xp.

Thanks in advance for your help.

State the exact steps you used to incorporate your old data into the Outlook
instance.

I have searched for *.pst files, and for each of the subsequent types that I
could find on the Microsoft support site and IF I found one, I would try to
import it or open it through Outlook to no avail. The upgrade to Office 2007
was seamless (which I stated originally) and everything was there UNTIL I
upgraded to Vista then...it's all gone. I've done everything that I could
find on the support site.

With viewing hidden files and folders enabled, correct?

Never import a PST. Exactly what happened when you tried to open them?

Did you look under C:\Windows.old?

absolutely nothing happened when I tried to open them. I did look in
C:\Windows.old. NOTHING is there. I've done a search of everything for
every conceivable file time and I'm just short of downgrading to Windows XP
again.
