Outlook 2007 Contacts

Help! i am having an issue with my Contact file... it seems to be shuffling
info from one to contact to another in the Display As field. For example--
John Doe is filed as Doe, John but then the Display As info is for Mary
Smith! I have corrected over 700 contacts, but keep finding issues of this
popping up. Might have happened when I recently upgraded from 2003 to 2007
two or three months ago, but notice it is also happening with new contacts
added recently. I also use a Blackberry via Verizon. Could that be the
culprit? Any ideas? I also use Norton 360 and nothing ever comes up as a
virus... Thanks for anyone's help! This is causing me much anxiety!

I would suspect the Blackberry as the culprit. What are your synch settings
as far as device versus desktop?

Generally, I synch from my desktop to the device, with the desktop taking
precedent. I also had corrected everything on my desktop, and then
re-synched. I am still having issues today.... If I type in a particular
contact's email address (we'll call her Mary) for a new email, and then right
click on the contact to see the Properties, it takes me to a completely
different person's contact card (Martin's) ... so now I am unsure of every
email I send, whether it is being sent to the correct person! I checked
Mary's contact card to see if there is anything cross-referenced to Martin
and there is not.... so help! I don't know what to do... if Blackberry is
the culprit, then I need to clear out whatever it has as a back up because
the backup would be wrong, too.... right?
