Outlook 2007 Crashes Every Time I Select The Inbox

Outlook 2007 crashes every time I select the Inbox to review email.

I started shortly after attempting to update Mobile Me's Control Panel,
because the Calendars weren't syncing.

Since I reinstalled, I can't use hardly anything. I can however see the
calendar.

How ironic.

Vista Ultimate 64 bit.

Removed Outlook Connector.
Uninstalled MobileMe control panel.
Symptom still exists in Safe Mode.
/resetnavpane switch didn't work either....

Frustrated as heck. Especially for a Task List addict...

Ideas?

I have tried the Office Diagnostics - It finds nothing wrong.

Enlighten me on the Repair Control Panel?

It will be pretty much the same thing as Office Diagnostics. Arne was
referring the the "Repair" option for Office, found in Add/Remove Programs
when you click Change for the Office entry.

Have you tried a new mail profile?

No I have not....

Ok... Created a new mail profile and just limited it to one email address.
Then it worked...

Guess I need to figure out how to get all of my Tasks, Calendars and etc.
back?

Just point your new profile at your old PST.

For an idiot, what do you mean by 'point'?

Open the Mail applet in Control Pane, click the Data FIles button. Add your
old PST, then set it as default.

I have been having the problems with outlook crashing when I try and open my
in box or any other folder which utilizes the connector. The connector that
was bundled with my outlook is the Sun Java System connector for microsoft
outlook. When you go to Sun's website there are several discussions in
forums about this same problem and they created and posted a patch to fix it.
The problem is, I cannot seem to be able to install the patch. Is this
connector bundled with Outlook? If so, does microsoft have a patch or easy
update?

I have no idea what this connector is for. I was referring to the Outlook
Connector available from Microsoft for connecting to Live Mail/Hotmail/MSN
accounts.
Is this connector bundled with Outlook?

No connectors are bundled with Outlook.
