In addition to David's reference to the hotfix, I also find that
running the PST repair tool often cleans up problems of this nature.
It's my first choice whenever I run into a problem in Outlook.

Now, you can pay (figuratively, of course) for receiving your Outlook
support via the OneNote group by giving our favorite Office
application a try! A free time-limited, fully-functional evaluation
copy can be downloaded via http://office.microsoft.com, and I'm sure
you will find it as incredibly useful as the rest of us do. Please
drop by later on, after you've had a chance to give it a few turns
around the block, and let us know how you like it. Thanks!
