Outlook 2007 crashes when replying, sending a new, or opening emai

I'm running XP and just installed Office 2007. I have Adobe Reader 8.1.2
(not 6 or 7 that have encountered problems). I checked my addins and here's
what I have listed:
Microsoft Exchange Unified Messaging
Microsoft Office SharePoint Server Colleague Import Add-in
Microsoft Outlook Mobile Service
Microsoft VBA for Outlook Addin

(Inactive) Microsoft Access Outlook Add-in for Data Collection and Publishing

I'm able to do anything in calender and contacts, but in email if I double
click on an email to view in full pane it crashes (event ID 1000). If I
click on New to compose a new email it crashes (event ID 1000). If I try to
reply to an email, it crashes (event ID 1000).

I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. I've also run Office
update and have installed all available updates.

Any ideas?

have you deleted any of the files in %USERPROFILE%\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook (windows xp) - specifically *.srs or outcmd.dat?
Tried a new profile?

Does it work in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

I just tried it in safe mode and yes, it works! What does that mean? How
can I resolve it for normal mode?

I went so far as to rename the %USERPROFILE%\Application

Data\Microsoft\Outlook folder to OulookOld and created a new, empty Outlook folder. I then reopened Outlook and allowed it to repopulate the folder with all files.

Same behavior...

Any more ideas? Thanks!

yes, I just created a new profile, set it as the default, opened Outlook in
that profile, and the same results.

The only difference so far has been when operating in Safe mode (as
suggested by Roady). Does this offer any insight?

It means that your issue is most likely caused by a faulty addin or a
corrupt setting (most likely in either outcmd.dat or extend.dat).
