Outlook 2007 Crashes when scrolling through Tasks

Using Outlook 2007 on Exchange Server 2003. I have approximately 300 tasks
in my Task folder totally approximately 16mb. I keep 3 Outlook windows open
at once, Folders, Calendars, and Tasks.

At least 3 times a day, when I scroll through my tasks it will crash with
the option to restart. When it restarts, the To-Do list option in the Task
View is gone until I shut down Outlook and restart.

Any suggestions on what could be causing this problem? (By the way, my IT
guy just walked by and said my 41mb Exchange Account size should not be a
problem, as we have a 3gig limit.)

Thanks.

41 megs shouldn't be a problem, even if the limit was only 50 mg. :)

I'm thinking a task is corrupt but identifying which one is the problem may
be difficult. If you have completed tasks, I'd move the older ones to a new
folder an see if that helps.

Thanks, Diane. I have tried to be diligent about that, but will watch it
more closely. In addition, is there a size limit PER task? Since I keep
copies of related emails inserted into my tasks, some are around 2gb.

As far as I know, there is not a size limit - but anytime the task gets
large it may open very slow. Logic says file size should not affect
scrolling the list, but who knows. Keep an eye on it and see if only happens
after opening large tasks.
