We have numerous users that are having problems with Outlook crashing when
switching between other user's calendars and their Inbox. Sometimes it takes
2-3 times switching between the two, other times it takes 10-15 times, but I
am able to duplicate. At first I thought that it might be Windows Desktop
Search or Copernic which are loaded on all machines. I also thought it may
be Office Communicator which is also installed on all of these machines.
After disabling Outlook indexing for Copernic and WDS, it still doesn't seem
to resolve the issue. All machines are running the following applications:
Trend Micro - Office Scan (Virus Protection)
Windows Desktop Search 3.01
Copernic Search
Office Communicator
Live Backup
Adobe Acrobat 8
When I look in the event viewer at the error message, I am seeing the
following error message:
Faulting application outlook.exe, version 12.0.6023.5000, stamp 46574050,
faulting module outlook.exe, version 12.0.6023.5000, stamp 46574050, debug?
0, fault address 0x002863ae.
