Outlook 2007 customize current view?

I have a question. With my home computer I had 2003 installed. I
customized one view and it took affect for every other folder I have that is
a child of the parent folder. When I upgraded to 2007 the RSS view for each
particular RSS feed is exactly formatted the same, as in it is using my
customized current view, specifically, a certain font.

Now with this work box, I hadn't set my customized current view prior to
upgrading. Now, when I set it for one particular RSS feed, it does not take
affect for the rest. I have to go ahead and do them manually.

Could this be happening because my main data folder is on an Exchange server
and not on my local hard drive?

No, this is because you modify the current view and not the actual template.
You can change the template through Define Views...
