Outlook 2007 - DPI setting, changes icons for inserted attachments

Gregster

Hello,
I recently bought a new laptop with a 17" monitor. Due to the size, I
increased my DPI Scaling (fonts) to a larger setting to accomodate better
reading.

However all my icons for inserted attachments, Emails, Tasks or Calendar
items, in the body of my Tasks, have changed to a Windows icon. The icons for
Office applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint or Word remain the same.

If I return the DPI scale to the default, the icons re-appear. (But then I
can hardly read anything on the screen, because the fonts are so tiny).

Help, help!

This is really a Windows question, not Outlook. You need to tweak the other
Display settings in Control Panel. Appearance, Advanced, Icon size, menu
text, etc. depending on your version of Windows

Thanks for your effort in answering Mary. I'm on Vista, and given those
instructions below, I can't seem to find exactly where those settings are.

Can you help?
