An end user cannot open email attachments.
I uninstalled McAfee 8.5 and found he could open the attachments. I then
re-installed it, and found that if "On Access" scanning is turned off, he
could open attachments. (Although, I also found that if "On Access" scanning
was turned on after Outlook opened, he could open attachments.)
The user is on Exchange, uses 2007 with SP1 & other patches installed. We
have not installed SP1 for Vista, on purpose, because we have problems with
it & Mcafee on other PC's.
What can I do to make it so that he can open attachments without going
through a song & dance. (I've suggested that we put XP on-I'm waiting for an
answer.)
Thx . . .
