Outlook 2007 Error Message When Trying to Empty Deleted Items

"The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem
persists, restart Outlook."
I have restarted Outlook, restarted the computer warm boot, restarted cold
boot, and Repaired the 2007 Office Suite through ADD/Remove Programs.

My Junk Mail folder also shows, in green, (4294967294) items--and it is empty!
Lord, I love new software--and I have to teach --or teach around--this stuff!

TRy a new mail profile - it fixes a number of problems such as yours.
