Outlook 2007 Error when saving messages to network share

Hey everyone,

I've got users intermittently experiencing an issue with Outlook 2007. They
try to save a copy to a share on a network drive as a .msg. The method of
saving and the format of the email doesn't seem to matter.

I've googled around for an answer, but haven't found anything that matches
up. Has anyone else experienced this?

It would probably help if you guys had the error huh?

"The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem
persists, restart Outlook."

It usually happens on the first attempt to save, but if they wait a minute
and try a second time it works. Weird.
