Outlook 2007 error

I can open Outlook 2007 and read and/or reply to one message only. If,
however, I try to open a second message, Outlook quits with the error message:
"Microsoft Office Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience." I would include the details of the
error message, but I can't copy them and they are too much to try to retype
by hand. If there are certain sections that would be helpful, I would be
willing to recreate portions of the message.

It will automatically restart Outlook for me after quitting, but the same
scenario obtains.

I have already tried reinstalling Office 2007 as well as just repairing it.
No difference.

If there is no fix to this problem, it is annoying enough that I will have
to abandon plans to try out Outlook 2007 and go back to 2003.

Thanks for any ideas you have.

My computer meets all the requirements for running Office 2007.

I am having the same problem. I am running XP SP2, 1 Gig RAM, Office 2003
Professional. I chose to upgrade Outlook only and keep my other Office 2003
apps. We are running Exchange 2003 on Windows Server 2003.
I really love all the new features of Outlook, but I had to go back. It
would crash every time I tried to send a new message, reply to one or just
about anything else.
After it restarts, I can send one new message, but then when you try to send
another one it crahses.
I sent all the error reports so I hope there is a resolution to this.

I just had to remove an add-on file (PDFMOutlook.dll)
From the toolbar in Outlook go to:
Tools - Macros - Security – Add-Ins
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\PDFMaker\Mail\Outlook\PDFMOutlook.dll
I removed the PDFMOutlook.dll and saved it in a newly created folder on my
desktop just in case I need the file later.

The formal solution is to uninstall the Adobe Acrobat 6/7 Professional
Outlook and Office Add-ins via Add/Remove Software and then Modify Adobe
Acrobat Pro.
Acrobat Reader is not the issue. The problem is Acrobat Professional
that you use to create PDFs.

Thanks very much for the response. That took care of it. It also seemed to
resolve a spell check issue I was having too.
