Outlook 2007 - Excessive connections to Exchange Server

We have a client running Outlook 2007, we noticed yesterday that she had 400+
ports/connections open to the exchange server.

We closed out Outlook and the connections disappeared. When we re-opened
Outlook, 4 connections immediately popped up. Her Outlook is even running in
Cached Mode. We checked to make sure that this was not an issue related to
the address book. I have looked around and I am not finding anyone else with
a similar problem.

Any Ideals?

What 3rd party things are installed on the desktop that protect, use, or
index Outlook items? (With the connection count you describe, look for
indexing stuff first and don't forget that they could be bundled into your
favorite internet explorer toolbar.)
