outlook 2007 exchange conflict

Hi
I recently installed msoft outlook 2007 and tried to get it to work with my
office exchange server, but then found out because of our IT policy it
wouldnt work.

so now i am trying just to set up on a yahoo account but i cannot open the
program because it constantly looks for an ost file that it says does not
work offline and brings up he exchange settings i have typed in and says it
cannot connect.

I have tried deleting the ost file and also uninstalliong the whole program
and reinstalling.

Any ideas?

Recreate your mail profile via Control Panel-> Mail and use the correct
server settings you need to connect to your mail account.

Use the Mail applet in the control panel to create a new mail profile and to
delete the old one.
