Outlook 2007 freezes when dealing with Calendar reminders

Outlook 2007 freezes whenever I have to reply to a Calendar reminder. In
fact, if I have more than one Calendar reminder, Outlook freezes before I can
do anything with the subsequent reminders.

I've tried repairing Outlook 2007, but that has apparently not helped.

I'm running XP SP2 with all the latest updates & fixes.
I'm running Office 2007 Pro Plus.

I get the following in the Event Log alot...

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: Microsoft Office 12 Sessions
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7003
Date: 3/12/2007
Time: 3:11:49 PM
User: N/A
Computer: CVCMS111
Description:
ID: 6, Application Name: Microsoft Office Outlook, Application Version:
12.0.4518.1014, Microsoft Office Version: 12.0.4518.1014. This session was
terminated unexpectedly.

I have the answer to my problem. I'm posting it just in case someone else
has the same problem.

I had the Exchange 2003 System Manager installed on my computer along with
Outlook 2007 and Windows Desktop Search (WDS) 3.01. I was told to run the
fixmapi.exe program to try to fix the problem that I was having. This did
not fix my problem. However, it did make me think about whether or not there
might be a bigger problem with System Manager.

I had already uninstalled WDS and hence Outlook was working fine. Then I
decided to uninstall System Manager, reinstall WDS, and see what happend.
Everything worked great.

Hopefully Microsoft will find and fix the problem that has arisen here.
