This is really irritating me.
I am using MS Outlook 2007 and have several email accounts.
Everytime it sends/recieves, the entire application indicates "Not
Responding" for a few seconds.
Then, it resumes for a few seconds while it accesses the NEXT account
to send/recieve.
Since there are several accounts, this FREEZE while send/recieve
occurs with every account.
Could it be that I have too many rules?
There was never any documentation suggesting not to have alot of
rules. The rules are simple: move messages from accounts to folders.
Could it be that I have over 100,000 messages with many having
attachments?
Again, nothing suggested deleting messages.
I will delete messages, limit the rules if I have to. Let me know what
you think might be happening.
I do not use an exchange server. Its pop3/smtp.
Thanks for any help,
Eric
