Outlook 2007 hang when opening meeting request.

Hello,

Problem for one user - when user creates and send meeting request to other users, user that receive
this meeting request and open it with outlook 2007 - outlook hangs and stops responding. If this
meeting request is opened by the same user with outlook 2003 its opens without problem. Where i can
find why outlook 2007 hangs on meeting request ? Its not problem for all users - just for one sender
of meeting requests.
Exchange 2007 SP1 Rolup 2.

First thing I would try is to clean up the forms cache.

To do so, follow these steps:
1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. Click the Other tab, and then click Advanced Options.
3. Click Custom Forms.
4. Click Manage Forms.
5. Click Clear Cache.
6. Close all open windows, and then restart Outlook.

If the above does not work, try the following.

Deleting the Forms Cache File:
The Frmcache.dat file is the primary file to delete. The Frmcache.dat
file serves as an index of the individual forms that have been cached
on the computer. Use the following steps to manually delete the
Frmcache.dat file. In addition, these steps delete all of the cached
forms on your computer, which are stored in subfolders of the
Forms folder.

1.. Quit Outlook.
2.. Search the Hard drive (<F3>) to locate the Frmcache.dat file.
(Be sure to check in HIDDEN files on W2K or WXP.)
3.. Delete all that are found from the FIND window.
4.. Open Outlook.

When you restart Outlook, and use a form, the forms cache
is re-created.

Thanks for respond - but both metods don't help

By the way - outlook hangs not on all meeting request but on some also if when outlook is freezed i
press "Esc" outlooks starts responding and open this item, but i think that pressing "Esc" is not a
solution for users

Did you clear the cache on the client that is having problems?
You cannot do this from your own machine for them.

Also, is the bad meeting request from the same person or
about an update to a recurring meeting?

I add this users mailbos as additional mailbox to my outlook profile and clear my own profile cache
with with my exchange account and thats user account. And when i try to open thats users sent items
some meeting requests on some of them outlook hangs on some opens without problems. Users who
receive that request also hangs on that meeting request.
Bad meeting request from same person - meeting not recurring.

Sounds to me like that meeting is corrupted and should be deleted
by everyone and created fresh.
