Hello,
I'm using Outlook 2007 SP1 on Vista Business SP1. I'm having a proble
with Outlook hanging when I open it.
When I open Outlook in normal mode, it does its normal Send/Receive an
appears to be working fine, but when I try to open any of my folders, i
jumps to 100% CPU usage and stops responding.
When I open Outlook in Safe Mode, immediately after I open it, i
throws up a pop-up asking whether I want to synchronize the Outloo
feeds with the Windows Common Feeds list, but the cursor is in th
waiting state, so I can't click on any of the buttons in the dialog box
I can't find any way to interact with Outlook, so I have to close it.
I have used ScanPST to scan all my .PST files, and I've repaired all o
them. I've tried deleting the files that are used by the RS
synchronization, and the same thing still happens. I've also trie
renaming extend.dat to extend.old. Same result.
What else can I try?
Thanks,
Mik
