When I type a "new" message to an addressee that is not in my address book, I
press send and the email window disappears instantly and the email goes into
my exchange outbox.
However, when I reply to a message, or when I send a message to an addressee
that is in my contacts, I press "send" and the blue Vista circle spins for 2
to 3 seconds before the email window disappears.
2-3 seconds doesn't seem like much, but when you send out 100 emails a day
it is almost unbearable.
Why is Outlook hanging? It also hangs like this when I enter a new contact
into outlook and click "save and close". Seems like it has something to do
with address book checking or something.
My computer is new and powerful and running very clean, and I uninstalled
the anti-virus and the issue remains.
