I have a user running Outlook 2007 that suddenly started hanging with
send/receive. The only way out is to close Outlook in task mgr.
I have run scanpst on the archive folder.
I have created a new user profile.
I have turned off RSS in Outlook.
I deleted the .ost file on his laptop and let it rebuild.
I ran Office 2007 diagnostics and no trouble found.
I created a new send/receive group and the problem appeared to have gone
away. It was back this morning though.
There have been no changes to virus scanning software since Outlook 2007
worked and quit working. I had uninstalled his BCM though.
I have renamed his archive.pst file and started a new one. I have disabled
scheduled send/receives. Now I am just waiting to see if problem reoccurs.
Does this sound familiar to anyone and if so what is the fix for this?
