Outlook 2007 Hangs Randomly

I installed the new Office 2007 (Small Business Edition) on my Laptop (A very
high End Toshiba Satellite P105, 2GB RAM, Intel 7200) running Windows Vista
Premium. The Laptop had pre-installed on it Microsoft Works, and the Office
2007 upgraded successfully with no problems.

My problem is the new Outlook 2007 that Hangs once a day. No specific place,
randomly, but always after finishing an operation (2 examples: coming back
from address book, and closing a message that was opened for reading).

It hangs, the mouse does not work any more, I can't close it using the x
button, none of the window mim/max/close buttons work, pressing a right mouse
button on the task bar brings up the popup menu, but the close does not work.
Pressing the right mouse button again does not even show the popup menu again.

Launching Outlook again does not do anything. The CPU is not busy. The only
way to exit or revive it again is either kill OUTLOOK.EXE from the task
manager or logoff.

I ran the Office Diagnostics, and reported NO problems. What shoud I Do?

It's very annoying, can you please help?
Thanks

I had the same problem but mine mostly locked up when attempting to
reply to a message. I had loaded OFFICE 2007 and called in and used
the old PST file. Apparently, this was the problem. I went back and
created a new personal file making sure to choose the 2007 edition
instead of the 1997 or 2003. This resolved my issue.

Thanks for your suggestion, but after checking, the format is not 97 but
"Personal Folders File" that I imported from Office 2003 on my older Thinkpad
Laptop. So, do I have to create a new outlook PST and import its content fom
the current one?
