Outlook 2007 has stopped working

I am operating Outlook 2007 without a new Office program and with Vista
Business. Every time I close the program I get a message that Microsoft
Outlook has stopped working and it tries to find a solution which it can't.

Any ideas?

Hooray!! It appears to be fixed. I didn't know about that tool.

Thank you for your help.

Well, all is not well after all. Upon starting my computer, I get the same
message as before so the change from using tech diagnosis apparently does not
hold after shutting down the laptop.

Any ideas?
