Outlook 2007 on Windows XP with 512Mb RAM
Virtual memory usage increases until Outlook is restarted or the entire system crashes and restarts (It has gotten as high as 1.7Gb).
When Outlook is closed, it takes up to 10 minutes for the process to actually end (as it slowly gives back it's memory to the system)
When Outlook restarts, it gives a message "Personal folders was not closed properly", and has to check the file. So far, it has always recovered.
Is this normal?
I've installed patches and updates I've seen in other messages on this forum, and things improved somewhat (messages are downloaded more quickly, but still much slower than it used to with Outlook 2003).
