Outlook 2007, image signature size problem

Hello,

I have created a 1200 px by 200 px JPEG signature. In Outlook 2003, adding
this pic in the signature was fine but in Outlook 2007, the picture is
resized smaller and is unreadable. Of course I can click on the image and
make it bigger manually but I would like for it to be always bigger and
readable. What am I missing? Me emails are set to HTML.

That is quite a large image so I assume that it is being resized to fit the
screen if you haven't fixed its size in the HTML code of your signature.

I was trying to make a point with this large size. Actually, the JPEG is 800
pixels large but Outlook resizes it in the preview window of the signature.
The fonts in the JPEGs are 9-10 pts but they appear more like 6-7 points. Any
suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Have you taken a look at the HTML code of the signature? What is the size
set to there? Has it been defined in pixel size?

How do yuo look at the HTML? There are no options that I see in the signature
panel.

Hi Luke,

It's always best to create the actual size image when inserting into
HTML. Although an image can be forced to a certain size, the results
are not consistent, and you have no idea what it looks like in all the
different ways of viewing email.

I would use a photo editor and resize the JPG to the exact size you need
so you don't have to take chances on your sig being unreadable.
